Just 60 km from Bucharest, nestled in a serene natural setting, a visionary private event park is taking shape — a space where landscape, architecture, and experience blend seamlessly. Ramatuelle is more than a park — it’s a destination. Designed as a luxurious enclave for exclusive celebrations, it will feature three elegant event pavilions, a 13,000 sqm artificial lake, a restaurant with pool, newly planted woodland, and a series of refined pavilions for intimate gatherings.

CMD/LA developed the master plan and landscape architecture concept for the entire site. The proposal integrates all key components — from the strategic positioning of the buildings and car parks to the terraced lakeside edge, forested areas with subtle landforms, and the VIP zones including the lakeside restaurant and pool.
The centerpiece of the project is the integration of the three event halls — each with distinct capacities of 250, 350, and 450 guests — designed by architect Andreea Besliu. The pavilions are placed along the eastern shore of the lake, their private terraces overlooking the water. Wooden docks extend into the lake, offering quiet moments of reflection amid celebrations.
Each of the three restaurants — Nouvelle, Chantelle, and Amourelle — is fronted by a water basin, where water flows gently over metal walls. These reflecting pools mirror the façades, amplifying their architectural elegance in light and shadow. Islands planted with sculptural Acer palmatum ‘Atropurpureum’ and A. disectum punctuate the water — creating a tranquil contrast to the energy within. While festivities unfold inside, the calming sound of water welcomes guests outdoors for a moment of pause.
The artificial lake spans 13,000 sqm and reaches a maximum depth of 2 meters. Designed as a natural habitat, it will be planted with aquatic species that support biological filtration and oxygenation. Its banks are terraced and lined with clay to ensure stability and a natural appearance.
To the west of the lake, a new forest is being planted — 12,000 sqm of deciduous trees, including ash and oak, contributing to the biodiversity and long-term ecological value of the site.
Ultimately, the client’s vision is to create a vast, 80-hectare private park — a landmark for private events that enhances the local environment through extensive green space and thoughtful landscape design. A space where architecture and nature celebrate together.
