The Crowne Plaza Bucharest landscape project was developed to redesign the hotel gardens and to create a coherent connection with the adjacent Ana Group office building. The design respects the existing mature vegetation while introducing new layers of functionality, transforming the outdoor areas into flexible, elegant spaces for business and leisure events.

The southern garden of the hotel preserves its beautiful tree mass, with carefully lifted canopies that define an open green room for private or public outdoor events. The lawn surface was fully renewed and equipped with efficient irrigation and drainage infrastructure, ensuring optimal maintenance and year-round usability.
A large lawn clearing, surrounded by tree crowns, was identified as the perfect spot for temporary tents to host open-air events. This flexible space enhances the hotel’s potential for outdoor gatherings, providing shade, natural ambience, and functional comfort.
The garden stands about 1.5–2 meters higher than the parking level of the Ana Group offices. This difference was resolved through a strong planted slope, with a mix of evergreen and deciduous shrubs, groundcovers, and solitary trees. The planting composition creates a colorful natural buffer, with seasonal tones ranging from bright red to golden yellow, fresh green to silvery blue.
The pedestrian access from the hotel garden to the office building was drawn through two elliptical grass islands, in contrast with the strict geometry of the glass façade. While the smaller ellipse remains unplanted, the larger one features a tall deciduous tree – a symbolic guardian of the building and a sculptural green accent within the corporate landscape.
