Linia

A Forest Promenade as a Linear Urban Landmark

The Linia Promenade project transforms a forest corridor into a contemporary urban promenade, designed as a meeting point between nature, leisure, and community life. With its sinuous pathways, natural textures, and integration of playful and artistic elements, the promenade redefines the relationship between the city and its surrounding forest. Stretching as a green line that invites walking, cycling, and socializing, it becomes a new model of sustainable landscape architecture.

Playful Interaction with Water

Water plays a central role in the promenade’s identity. Decorative basins and playful water features animate the linear path, creating a refreshing atmosphere during summer and encouraging interaction for children and adults alike. Water jets, reflective pools, and gentle streams bring movement and sound, enhancing the multisensory experience of the forest environment.

Natural Playgrounds and Outdoor Recreation

The promenade integrates play areas inspired by natural materials. Wooden structures, stone elements, and sculptural logs offer children the opportunity to explore, climb, and imagine new worlds in harmony with the forest setting. Unlike conventional playgrounds, these interventions encourage creativity, physical activity, and connection with nature. Recreational zones are complemented by rest areas, ensuring that families can spend hours outdoors in comfort and safety.

Sculptural Furniture and Pergolas

Urban furniture is conceived not only as functional seating but also as sculptural interventions. Benches and resting platforms are designed with organic shapes and robust materials such as stone, wood, and steel. Pergolas punctuate the promenade, providing shaded areas for relaxation while adding rhythm and architectural character to the linear space. These elements define nodes of encounter, turning the promenade into a sequence of micro-places, each with a distinct atmosphere.

Sound and Movement in the Landscape

Artistic elements inspired by wind chimes and kinetic objects enrich the promenade with subtle acoustic layers. As the wind moves through the forest, the soundscape evolves, making each visit unique. These sensory interventions highlight the dialogue between human creativity and the natural rhythms of the forest, offering a poetic dimension to the promenade.

A Linear Connection Between City and Nature

The promenade has been equipped with both functional and architectural lighting. Minimalist fixtures ensure safety along the paths, while accent lighting highlights water features, pergolas, and vegetation. At night, Linia transforms into a luminous corridor, extending its usability and inviting evening walks, social gatherings, and cultural events in a magical atmosphere.

The Linia Promenade is more than a pathway through the forest—it is a linear urban park where water, play, art, and nature coexist. Through its design, the project fosters community interaction, supports sustainable mobility, and creates a new identity for the city. Linia stands as an example of contemporary landscape architecture that celebrates ecological values while offering memorable spaces for daily life.
